Aspire in Practice: Faster Onboarding, Better Observability, Smarter Distributed Development
This talk is a workshop
Distributed application teams often lose time to local setup friction, inconsistent service wiring, and fragmented diagnostics across services. This session shows how Aspire helps you model distributed systems as code, streamline onboarding, and create a cleaner developer workflow from day one.
We follow a practical, hands-on progression: orchestrating services with AppHost, enabling service discovery, integrating data and cache dependencies, adding observability and health checks, and deploying to Azure using the same application model used locally. We also show how AI coding agents, Aspire Skills, and the Aspire MCP Server accelerate troubleshooting by combining source context with live runtime insight.
You will leave with a repeatable adoption playbook for real teams: reduce configuration drift, improve developer productivity, and create a clearer path from laptop to production across modern polyglot app stacks.
This session is rated level 100 -"Introductory/Overview".
